Describe how magnetism can produce electrical current and electrical current can produce magnetic forces.
We connected a wire from the battery to the switch and we connected a wire from the
other side of the switch and wrapped it around the electromagnet. Then we connected that wire to the battery and used the switch to turn the electromagnet off and on to pick up as many washers we could.
